A legitimate LGV CAT C and Class 2 licence and the age of at least 18 are requirements. You must then complete a few more stages before you can begin training, such as obtaining a provisional licence, passing a medical exam, passing a theory exam, and receiving your ongoing CPC certification. Every five years, you must complete 35 hours of regular CPC training to maintain your licence. If you are thinking to go for HGV class 1 training, make sure you fulfil all these requirements as you won't get the permit to give Driver CPC test if you do not have any one of these things.
